Part of the Puzzle

It's still puzzling me - morguefileWhatever the big picture might look like, we mortals only ever get to see a few pieces of the whole puzzle. When you hold just one small part of the larger mystery, sometimes the best you can do is to look for pattern and meaning in the bits you have and hope to make connections as you go along.

How do you see your small piece connecting to the larger Whole?

  1. Today’s inspiration “Part of the Puzzle” fits so well into the start up of a UU “Finding Heart” group I’m facilitating, I want to thank the author for the inspiration. The group topic is a take-off based on Thomas Moore’s book, “A Religion of One’s Own.” The graphic of a nearly completed puzzle with just a few pieces yet to place says so much about continuing the quest for pieces that fit into our understanding of wholeness. I shall share it with others in the group. Thanks again for a wonderful metaphor.

  2. My uniqueness is similar to everyone else’s. The wholeness of everything is made up of all of these each different parts. Only when we realize that by fitting it together in a way that the parts of a puzzle finally find their spots will it make a whole picture and our universe complete. It stretches my imagination to consider that it can be possible. Who would be the final piece that completes the puzzle? I do know that it won’t be me; however, as humanity continues onward, there will surely be additions that will be important pieces put there by many contributors and each ONE will count.
