Sometimes it is a relief or even a joy to share a secret, but there are some secrets that simply must be kept, even if there is a cost.

What lengths have you gone to to keep a secret?

What inside you is pushing to get out?

Our most solitary moments can, paradoxically, be those in which we feel most connected—to ancestors, to tradition, to a community of faith, to a sense of the Holy. Being solitary is very different from being alone.

When have you experienced a deep sense of connection although no one you knew was around?

The view of the waterfall is lovely, but the view from behind the waterfall is magical. Sometimes it’s worth a bit of a scramble to see things from a new perspective.

When has a shift of perspective changed your view of the world?

All the locks in the world are not sufficient to keep a secret from escaping.
