It turns out that the fun of the game has very little to do with where it is played. Once you are in the game, it just doesn’t’ make that much difference whether you are on a rough outdoor court or on a shiny gym floor. The game resides in the players, and not the court.
When have you had fun under less than ideal circumstances?

My uncle died in his 40’s. It was a terrible, traumatic time for our family. But I have a positive memory of taking a break from the wake with my cousins, and going for ice cream.
One of the times I was in the psych ward, I was hanging out with some other girls in my room, chatting and reading fashion magazines like it was a slumber party.
