You might think that anyone with any sense would build on solid ground, not precariously perched over moving water. But you don’t have to worry about your basement flooding if you’ve built so that the water habitually runs by.
How has taking a risk led to your feeling safer?
I’m not sure that I can equate taking a risk with feeling safer. I’m sure that in some causes that could happen but I haven’t sensed it often. In response to caring for the upkeep of a home, neither can I respond to that intelligently since I have rented property all of my adult life. So, my answer really lies within this parameter: when I choose to take a risk , such as giving a speech to the Rotary Club, after it is over, then, if I felt that I did well, I relax and feel that my risk taking and my courage were well executed.
