We pause in thanks today for all of the life that has made it possible for us to live. For the earth and the sun and the plants and the streams, for the ancestors in all of their imperfection.
What are you grateful for today?
Sometimes, the stories we tell are just pieces of the truth. Sometimes, those stories get in the way of imagining something different, something better. Sometimes, we need to write new stories. Sometimes, we need to listen to the stories that others have been telling all along.
How do you change the stories you tell to make new things possible?
“A child’s world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement. It is our misfortune that for most of us that clear-eyed vision, that true instinct for what is beautiful and awe-inspiring, is dimmed and even lost before we reach adulthood.”
-Rachel Carson, “Sense of Wonder”
