Resurrection

Today is Easter Sunday, the holiest day in the Christian calendar, which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus from his death at the hands of the Roman state.

What can the story of Jesus’ resurrection and the teaching of his followers that he had been raised from the dead offer to your spiritual journey today?

Darkness

The dark is a necessary part of our lives. Darkness can be comforting and healing, it can wrap us like a blanket and allow us to sleep. Darkness can offer grace sometimes when light is too much for us to bear.

How do you experience the healing power of darkness?

Grief

We experience grief because we experience love, we experience connection, we experience relationship. When we lose someone who is important to us–including a teacher or prophet–we feel that loss in our bones. And yet, love, connection, and relationship are worth the vulnerability that they require.

How have you made yourself vulnerable to love?

Grace

“Perhaps the very simplicity of grace is what makes it hard to describe.” -Theresa Ines Soto, in the April edition of Quest (https://www.questformeaning.org/spiritual-reflections/quest-monthly/).

What does “grace” mean to you? How have you experienced it in your life?

Wishes

When I was a child, we would pick the puffballs of dandelion seeds and make wishes as we blew the seeds off of them. As the sparking seeds took to the wind, they brought our wishes to life.

How are you making your desires known to the world?
