The only way to make sure that you get the last laugh is to be willing to laugh at yourself—and to be easily amused.

What funny story do you tell about yourself?

The tree is gone, and hardly anything remains of even its stump. But the green moss has grown through the winter, and the tiniest of leaves are nourished by what the tree has left behind.

What is the smallest piece of hope that you carry?

Facing the challenges of life requires courage and persistence and skill. But sometimes the best strategy is just to give it a rest for a while and wait for things to pass.
