How do you experience love as something that goes beyond personal connection?

What a privilege it is to rest in the company of someone—human or otherwise—who simply accepts you as you are, offering love without conditions or expectations. For pets this gift of love seems to come naturally. We humans often have to do a lot of letting go in order to simply be present.

Who has offered you unconditional love and friendship? Who do you offer it to?

It is traditional to celebrate Chinese New Year by thoroughly cleaning the house, sweeping out all ill fortune and making room for good fortune to come in.

What could you sweep from your life that would make room for more joy?

Although phrase “a bridge to nowhere” has become a catch phrase for “a useless government project,” what could be more magical than a bridge that disappears off into the unknown? Sometimes the finest journeys are the ones in which we don’t know where we’re headed, where not only what we see along the path but also the destination itself come as surprises.
