Why might it be more difficult to be just than to be good?
Perfect peace. Perfect serenity. Perfect poise held in glowing light above, and reflected in still water below. Yeah, OK, life doesn’t look like that very often, but you could imagine it, right?
Just for a moment, right here, right now, imagine yourself poised in perfect serenity, held in perfect beauty.
The refrain “This land is my land, this land is your land” sounds so good in the folk song, but in the case of Israel and Palestine it’s not an agreement, but an argument. A really complicated argument with a very long history and no clear solution.
