“The road to changing the world
Is never-ending
―pace yourself”
―Rupi Kaur
What practices help you keep going for the long haul?
Making any kind of change usually feels overwhelming. The distance between where we are and we need or want to be is just so far. The only way to get there is to start walking, one step at a time—keeping our vision fixed on our destination.
What does the next step toward your destination look like right now?
Face it, in spite of your best efforts some days are going to be bad hair days, when things just go awry. Some days not only are you not going to be the graceful swan, you won’t even make it to a respectable version of a goose. Some days are like that.
What helps you feel better on the bad hair days, when things go wrong?
“I find my thoughts drifting to the Sabbath, the day of rest, the seventh day of the week, and perhaps the seventh day of one’s life as well, when one can feel that one’s work is done, and one may, in good conscience, rest.”
― Oliver Sacks
