How have you welcomed someone (human or otherwise) who you weren’t expecting?
Catastrophic events will happen—there’s no getting around it. But those best able to handle drastic circumstances are those who have deliberately and carefully trained for them, learning in controlled environments what to do when circumstances get out of control.
