Church Bells

Churches have traditionally had bell towers, and the ability to sound out those bells across the town. Similarly, in the Muslim tradition the call to prayer rings out across the entire community five times a day. Religion, it turns out, has been taking over the airwaves for a very long time.

All of us have parts of us that—for better or for worse—we keep hidden in certain contexts. We might avoid discussing politics at work, or hide our religion from our aunt or our romantic relationships from our parents. We all have a human need to be seen, but sometimes the need to not be seen takes precedence.
