Ancestors

Walking, I am listening to a deeper way. Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. Watch and listen. You are the result of the love of thousands. -Linda Hogan, in Dwellings

Who are the ancestors behind you today? How are you feeling their love?

  1. To be true, I’m not very interested in my blood ancestors. I am a member of the LGBTQI+ family and I see those to be my ancestors who lived before me. I honor and remember especially gay people who were murdered in concentration camps and gay and trans people who were killed by haters until nowadays. They are the ancestors behind me. And I hope they watch over me and over all the LGBTQI+ people alive, those who are brave enough to having their comming out, those who experience hate and discrimination, those who are happy with a life partner, those who get the chance to adopt a child and so on.
