Looking Down

Why, when there is so much grandeur up above, would a person choose to look down at the floor? Perhaps because the floor is also beautiful.

  1. It occurs to me that in such a voluminous space, part of the beauty is a sense of presence – just being there.
    There is artful beauty above, below, around. A feeling of respect for the artisans who created it, why they created it, and the illumination of the space is beauty in and of itself.
