Legend has it that the groundhog ducks back in his hole if he gets scared by seeing his shadow, leaving us with six more weeks of winter. We all have things that frighten us that others might not understand.

I have sometimes wondered if I have someitmes initiated friendship with someone that I recognize as
“needing help”. Although some of these friendships have turned into ones with genuine mutua interests, I want to realize that friendships do not necessarily have to be based on this reason.
