Being able to recognize my errors is vital to my learning from them. This is especially important to me in realizing that I have, usually unintentionally, hurt someone’s feelings. It is still important to ackowledge this mistake to whomever is the recepient. I try to say my “I’m sorry(s) as soon as I can.”
