New Growth

NewGrowthWhat looks from one perspective like a hatchet job, a cataclysmic loss of limbs, can be regarded from another point of view as necessary pruning that will allow for new growth.

How has choosing to give something up allowed you to make room for something new?

  1. I give up ‘things” with reluctance. Actually I often take great pleasure in using something that I have had already in some new creative way. However, by necessity really, because of space and over abundance, I donated almost new and new shoes some of which I had worn very slightly….too short, not REALLY comfortable…didn’t match with current wardrobe…to the fellowship rummage sale. I noticed that they has sold and I felt ok about having put them, so to speak, into someone else’s hands to enjoy and ones that they likely couldn’t have had money to purchase.
