Airing Your Laundry

HangingClothes - clfPeople are commonly accused of “airing our dirty laundry in public.” And surely not everything needs to be on display. But on the other hand, one way to get your laundry smelling fresh and clean is to allow it to air out, and that might just mean having it hanging in the public eye.

What has felt cleaner and more wholesome to you after you allowed people to see it?

  1. Ah, the clutter of many years of planning for, hoping about, holding on to things… and just neglect! The times I floated away on an exotic vacation trip was worth it but I now see the left overs and unresolved were often left behind. I don’t regret it but it does surprise me. My faithful cleaning lady and helpmate is now working for me as I rustle through papers and make decisions, sometimes holding onto something to read and share with her, if only for a moment, before it goes into the waste. It is like sharing parts of my life with her, and thankfully she seems to also enjoy these moments.
