Into the Garden

Come into the garden“Won’t you come into the garden? I would like my roses to see you.”

Who or what makes you feel like your presence is a blessing?

  1. Hi there, when I enter my email address and hit the subscribe button, I get the following message….”There was an error when subscribing. Please try again.”

I tried to click on on the daily compass post for May and nothing opens. I tried April and the same thing.

    1. Sorry for the frustration! I had our tech person check, and the subscription button seems to be working normally. I’m not sure what you mean by clicking on the post for May and April, since posts are daily, not monthly.

      1. I might be getting confused with something Beth told me. She said that there is something you guys send in the mail with pages of stuff to read for those that are members and I think it was the Daily Compass. She said if I want to see it for free, I can just go online. I can email her about it. Thanks for your help. = ). Yea, I am not sure why I am getting that error message.

        1. Ah, you’re talking about Quest Monthly. Yes, asking Beth about it is a good idea.

  2. A friend of mine has Parkinson’s Disease and as you may know, there is no cure for this disease. There are treatments that ease some symptoms but as it progresses, mobility, mental acuity and a host of other symptoms restrict activity. Since he is in a care center, he is limited in getting out and being in the world of people. When I visit him, and we are able to take a jaunt outside to see Spring flowers, or go to a movie, he tells me that it makes a lot of difference to him and that he enjoys when I visit. I believe him; even though he is with a community of residents, it can not always be pleasant. I don’t especially call this my blessing for him because he taught statistics and I taught art so our minds sometimes concentrate in two different spheres but we do help each other through this period of our lives with some joy.
