I have given thought to the fact that I have not married. What have I missed? Would I have been a “good” wife and/or mother? Recently, I realized that I have taken many opportunities to have experiences that married women perhaps only dreamed of. I see my life as filled with those exciting events that would never have happened if I had chosen the other path. Sounds a bit like R Frost’s “The Road Not Taken”. I see positives now that I never recognized before.
Pretty much everything. I worry obsessively pretty much the whole day, everyday. The anxiety is destroying my life and body, something that only causes more worry. Depression taints my perception as well. If I could have a different attitude toward myself and life in general, I would feel much better and would be more pleasant to be around. If I only knew how…
