Santa’s Helpers

ChristmasFace it, Santa can’t do it all on his own. He needs helpers, elves who can carry out all the details. Elves who cook for families or for the homeless shelter. Elves who listen carefully to the hopes of small children. Elves who make merry and elves who comfort. Elves who look for ways to help without even being asked. Yep, most of what we think of as Christmas is managed by elves.

Who are the special elves in your life?

  1. My family helps me when I’m unable to do things myself, such as walking my dog. We celebrated Christmas together, with everyone helping out as they could. It came together nicely.

  2. Perhaps there are “elves” hiding somewhere near me, but I really have difficulty identifying them!? I can admit that during this holiday season I enjoy receiving cards from those who remember me and give me news of themselves and their families. I often send out New Year’s Greetings to them as well as to others from whom I haven’t heard in a while. I like to give greetings to friends and relatives with wishes for another year of positive possibilities.
