What small change in your life has filled you with wonder?

  1. I can carry a tune but I’m no great singer! However, as I age, I think that it’s worthwhile to learn something new. So the last two years I’ve volunteered as part of the local Symphony Choir annual performance. My voice has lowered and I seem to be a (female) tenor now which means I must listen to the other singers adding their parts to the whole. What a revelation! I now listen to classical music in an entirely different way; I can identify the melodies of the basses, the wind instruments, the others…adding their harmonious parts to the whole. I never thought of this before my new experience with music.
