Inchworm, inchworm
Measuring the marigolds,
Seems to me
You’d stop and see
How beautiful they are.

My home is often filled with interesting branches of fall leaves, dried and fallen from a tree or even a single leaf that seems to have a particularly beautiful coloring. They are stuck here and there, on the wall, in a vase, sometimes, or simply placed near where I eat breakfast. At some point they change and become much less appealing and go into the compost, but for the moment, they exude interesting form and beauty.
