The Jewish festival of Sukkot commemorates the 40 years that the Hebrew people spent wandering in the wilderness. But far from holding a mood of frustration or loss, Sukkot is a joyful celebration, a chance to eat and even sleep in a flimsy construction that lets you see the stars through your roof.
How do you find ways to celebrate when life feels unstable?

I celebrate by being thankful for all that I have, remembering that this is a “plot twist” and not the way the rest of my life will go (tho it sometimes feels that way!) Meditation and appreciating the things that are good in the “now” moment also help.
