We learn new ideas when something in them connects to what we already know, but they build on our knowledge. We connect with other people when we find something that we have in common which creates the space to explore our differences. We build our lives out of puzzle pieces that have one side which connects to that which is already established, and one side that reaches out to the bigger picture.
