Intoxicating Possibility

IntoxicatingPossibility“If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of the potential, for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints; possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating, as possibility!”
―Søren Kierkegaard

What possibilities that you see before you charm and enchant you?

  1. I have to confess that, after being declined for a position I was really looking forward to & having my phone calls ignored by another place that was initially interested, the possibilies I see before me are pretty bleak. I am 47 years old, have 16 years of title insurance experience, 2 years of records management experience, a Masters Degree in Information and Library Science, a paralegal certificate and a real estate licence but I’m stuck in a job where I spend part of my day as a receptionist and have no real prospect of advancement or raises. I may have to take an online course, but that means more time at a computer and away from my wife and son. Sorry Soren, but these possibilities are looking more like vinegar.
