A baseball in a box isn’t much good for playing the game, but it can offer something as good, or better – the memory of an extraordinary experience as a player or a fan, a chance to hold a great game or great players in the palm of your hand.
What do you cherish because of the memories you associate with it?
So true! My house is full of shells, pieces of driftwood, etc. that remind me of the beautiful places where I found them. I have a mussel shell full of pearls hanging on my wall that I made from mussels I found on the coast of Maine. Every time I look at it I remember the cottage we rented when the children were little and so many memories.
