Flowers only bloom for a short while before the color fades. But there is a different beauty in the faded flower, as with a memory you get to hold after a lovely experience is over.

A fleeting but poignant memory stays with me when a young child realizes that she/he has succeeded at something held important. The look on the face is a glorious picture of how it is to have confidence and pride in oneself. Along with this moment is my hope and expectation that this will be a reason for future episodes to follow with other successes.
