A Way Out

When you have felt trapped, confined in a space that you can’t find a way to escape, seeing the light of a possible way out—even in the distance—feels like something of a miracle.

When have you found your way out a situation in which you felt trapped?

Wild

The electricity in the fierce snap of lightning is the same electricity that lights up the buildings and streets of Bangkok. The only difference is that one is wild and one is domesticated and under control.

Where do your impulses toward wildness emerge?

To Walk on Earth

“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky; white clouds; green leaves; the black, curious eyes of a child—our own two eyes. All is a miracle.”  ―Thich Nhat Hanh
