When you think of a bird soaring free, you might think of the great gliders, like the albatross who can stay aloft for a year at a time. But the tiny hummingbird is has perhaps the freest flight of all, since it can go in any direction, shifting paths in an instant.

How have you found freedom through being flexible about your path?

Where the Wind Takes Us

The problem—and the joy—of a hot air balloon is that it has no means of steering. Once you’re up in that basket, you go wherever the wind takes you, whether you had expected to go there or not. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view.
