Support Yourself

It is a wonderful thing to get support and affirmation and praise from friends or family or folks at work. But it doesn’t always happen. You are entitled to support yourself, to praise yourself, to give yourself the advice and consolation and forgiveness you would give a dearly beloved friend.

Who Me?

Some of us are uncomfortable receiving any kind of praise or compliment, and do our best to deflect admiring words, even if we like to hear them. Receiving praise is a skill as much as giving it.
