At every threshold, every transition, there is some bit of us that we leave behind. Every choice means that we must give up the thing we didn’t choose. Some choices are harder than others, and perhaps some image of ourselves remains on the other side of those difficult doors.
What choice for you was significant enough that you can imagine yourself on the other side of that door?

What do you see dawning in spite of the difficulty of the present moment?
A greenhouse brings the outdoors inside, creating a world between worlds where plants can grow in places and seasons where they are not found in nature, and humans can move through nature in a way they could not otherwise access.

What teacher do you honor for the ways they led you to new thresholds in your own mind?
Most of us will never step through the door into the high-gloss lifestyle of the very wealthy—and yet society continually nudges us toward coveting the lifestyles of the rich and famous. It is entirely possible that such a lifestyle has far less happiness to offer than we are led to believe.
What threshold have you once longed to cross that no longer appeals to you?
