What will you do today to inspire someone else?

Even a very calm river is a hazard for a baby—unless she is equipped with a floaty and a grown-up with loving arms who will keep her safe in her encounter with the new and wild.

Who or what helps you feel safe in an encounter with the new?

What will you do today to bless and nourish the seed of something new?

A gate is an invitation to the new, a suggestion that you walk through into the adventure that waits on the other side. But you know what? Just because a gate is there doesn’t mean it’s the right time to walk through. Sometimes it’s just as well to wait until the snow clears rather than forcing the issue.

What opportunity or potential are you choosing to leave alone for now?

Within hours of birth a baby horse is up and walking—even running—around. Often new ideas require massive amounts of tinkering and trials in order to work, but on occasion they arrive fully formed, ready to run out in the world.

What have you created that seemed miraculously complete, right from the start?
