We to be dismissive, even derogatory about “wishful thinking,” chastising those who want things to be different without having steps in place to make that change happen. But doesn’t all change start with an act of imagination that envisions a new possibility?
What do you hope for, without having an idea of how to make it happen?

What do you simply refuse to participate in?
Sometimes what the world needs is not so much the grand gesture or the great cause, so much as a little point of light, a spark of beauty or inspiration or kindness that makes the next step possible.

When have you made an ethical choice to go where you weren’t supposed to be?
“All in favor, raise your hands.” Or your voices. Or your pens. We tend to focus on resisting that which will cause harm, but the world desperately needs us to pursue those things we are in favor of, the things we love, the possibilities that light our imaginations.
