When has the fracturing of something in your life made you feel more real?

A sea sponge is a collection of tiny little organisms that together make up what we know as a sponge, a whole that is larger than the sum of its parts.

What do you belong to that makes you feel that you a part of something that is bigger than yourself?

Sometimes the hardships of life leave us “stronger at the broken places,” but sometimes the assaults of the world leave a hollow place that never grows back. It turns out that sometimes those hollow places allow us to offer shelter to another.

How has something that wounded you let you to support or shelter someone else?

If you are a cygnet, it must be very nice to have such an imposing parent as a swan leading the way for you and keeping you safe from all dangers.
