What helps you to handle your physical vulnerability?

The ladyslipper orchid uses its elaborate shape to trap bugs and ensure that they brush past the flower’s pollinating organs on their way out—not harming the bugs, but making sure that the flower gets what it needs.

How do you structure your life to help yourself get what you need from others?

In addition to having keen eyesight, hearing and sense of smell, cats are endowed with whiskers that give them an exquisitely sensitive sense of touch. We humans, lacking whiskers, have to find other ways of tracking tiny changes in our environment.

What practices help to keep you in touch with what is going on around you?

A rock might not be the most comfortable place to settle in for a nap, but it’s working for this sea lion.
