Once you get on the roller coaster, your course is set. When you get to the top of the hill and see the long drop ahead there is no opportunity to change your mind. Your only choices are to hang on for dear life or to throw your hands up in the air.

Although newly hatched chicks and ducklings quickly become fluffy and adorable, many baby birds start life looking downright homely—if not hideous. Many a project starts this way as well, unattractive and ravenous, demanding attention without looking like it will offer much in the way of returns.
What helps you to stick with creative endeavors, even when they start out looking very unpromising?
What a lot of trust it takes to head in to the water backwards and head over heels, unable to see where you will land until you are already there! Trust comes from having put in the practice to know that your body is capable of what you are trying to do. Faith comes from knowing that whatever you do, the water will always receive you.
