Sometimes it happens that you are cruising along through life, headed down your usual path, when there turns out to be a huge sink-hole that was never there before. Illness, accident, death, divorce—even childbirth or a relationship you never expected, can leave you with your wheels in the air and the wind knocked out of you.
What has helped you to get back on solid ground when life has left you jack-knifed?
Passover honors the exodus of the Hebrew people from slavery in Egypt, their choice to leave the terrible known for the sake of the terrible unknown.

Which of your virtues has the world not yet discovered?
On Palm Sunday the crowds welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem with a hero’s welcome. Only a few days later a crowd called for his violent death. Neither crowd imagined for a moment that more than 2000 years later one of the world’s great religions would center on the events of that week.
