Any moment now a breeze or a child will come along and the dandelion puffball will be flying everywhere, hundreds of tiny parachutes dropping seeds in all directions. But not yet.

What in your life might change shape at any moment?

Some people, we say, have “a green thumb,” a way with nurturing plants, while others do not. It turns out that mostly what it takes to have a green thumb is the willingness to put in the effort, the dedication to learn what each plant needs and then provide it.

What do people see you as gifted at because you care enough about it to do it well?

They say that you have to play to win, but the saying leaves out an important part of the equation. What is the prize that you really want? Are you buying your tickets for the jackpot that really means the most to you?

What jackpot do you most deeply hope you could win?

There is much to be said for the amazing views at the top of a rigorous mountain climb, but there’s also a lot in favor of a gentle walk in the woods, with nothing more remarkable before you than the repeating trees and the green grass.

What is a reliable source of ease and comfort for you?
