It’s annoying, right? The guy who needs to impress you with his knowledge on a subject that you already know more about than he does—or a subject that you simply weren’t interested in being lectured on. Google miraculously allows us to instantly wade through the vast quantities of information on the internet to find the bit that we wanted. Basically, many of us carry an oracle around in our pocket.

When have you realized that what you thought was a fact was actually your interpretation?
Seeing the world through rose colored glasses, viewing everything as more positive and optimistic than the facts would indicate, is a kind of lying, or denial of facts. But it can also make the world considerably more habitable.
