Often it’s best to judge carefully, to consider options and implications, to be thoughtful and cautious in moving toward what we think we want. But sometimes you just need to move in with gusto, before the delicious popsicle melts to a sticky mess, before the opportunity is gone.
When have you leapt after something you hungered for?
Sometimes what we hunger for is not just out of reach, it is forbidden. Maybe because we know it could harm us, maybe because our taking what we want could harm others, maybe simply because there are rules or conventions that tell us what we want is not allowed.
