How do you offer prayers of thanks?

We are taught as parents to praise our children’s efforts, rather than any particular quality or gift. But sometimes we all need the complete, blanket affirmation that a beloved pet gets when we murmur how good they are, and how loved.

What qualities do you look for in a leader?

We teach children to achieve long-term goals by noting and praising the small steps along the way, placing stars on a chart to show progress. It turns out that adults learn much the same way.
