What silent rituals are meaningful to your spiritual journey?

Silence can be used to exert power over another. Silence that enforces secret-keeping can break trust and do great harm.

How have you experienced silence being used for harm?

Long ago, I went cross-country skiing deep in a snowy wood. When we stopped, the silence around us was complete and amazing. We held our breath in awe of the magnificent silence all around us.
