Inner Light

“You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hid.  Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a bushel [basket], but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.  Let your light so shine before others that they may see your good works….” (Matthew 5:14-16)

How can you let the light within you shine to the world today?

Becoming

Process theology teaches us that all of nature—all beings and things in the Universe—is composed of creative events—constant new beginnings as each being encounters newness and becomes something new. Creativity, therefore, is our ultimate purpose and our inescapable destiny.

Notice creative events in your day. Notice how things you take in change you and how you change things around you.

Heaven

“Let us make this earth a heaven, right here, right now.
Who knows what existences death will bring?
Let us create a heaven here on earth
where love and truth and justice reign.”
-Tess Baumberger

How can you help to create heaven on earth?

Sustainability

“We can’t turn back the clock to save lives, but maybe we can change our addiction to productivity that enables our leaders to fail us so tragically. Maybe we can change our habits of corporate consumption or unending growth of markets that leave small towns ruined. Maybe sustainability of markets—and our hearts and minds—is more important than the wealth of ten people on this globe.” -Rev. Jude Geiger

Do something to make your life more sustainable today. To sustain your heart, your mind, your soul.

Presence

“Our presence matters. How we relate to each other creates the conditions of hell or heaven here on earth. May we remember and affirm that we are all in this together, friends: we are all in this together.”-Rev. Deanna Vandiver

How can you affirm today that you are in this with someone else? With all of us?
