Daily Compass

Inspiration for your spiritual expedition

The Daily Compass, a ministry of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Larger Fellowship, offers words and images to inspire spiritual reflection and encourage the creation of a more loving, inclusive and just world.

Daily Compass is made possible by the generous donors to CLF. To make a donation, visit clfuu.org/give.

Compassion

Compassion comes from roots that mean “to suffer with.” How do we develop a capacity to recognize another person’s pain and have it change the way we act and react?

What are ways you practice compassion?

Over the course of July, Daily Compass will loosely use Karen Armstrong’s framework in her book Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life and the Charter for Compassion, to explore compassion.
