“I believe that what we become depends on what our fathers teach us at odd moments, when they aren’t trying to teach us. We are formed by little scraps of wisdom.”
–Umberto Eco
What scrap of wisdom have you gleaned from your father or a father figure?

My father was a minister who taught me that religion is less about what I believe, and more about how I treat people.
1. Always be as polite as you can for as long as you can.
2. Always treat the people who work for you the best that you can, because they have the power to decide if you will be a success.
3. Always tip bartenders.
