Ducklings stay safe because although they are ready to be up and moving within moments of hatching, they are born with the instinct to follow mom, trailing neatly behind as she travels. Being a leader is great, but sometimes the wisest course is to follow someone who knows where they are going.
Who do you trust to lead you in the right direction?
I prefer the way geese fly. Each bird flies slightly above the bird in front of him, resulting in a reduction of wind resistance. The birds take turns being in the front, falling back when they get tired. In this way, the geese can fly for a long time before they must stop for rest.
I have major trust ‘issues’ so ‘they’ say. I have a hard time trusting myself let alone someone else.
