Most of us can only imagine what it would be like to soar like a hawk, carried by nothing more than air. It turns out that you can only get to that peaceful place of floating by literally jumping off a cliff.
What kind of cliffs have you chosen to jump off, trusting that the experience will be worth it?

In 1992 my career as an outside salesman for Bell & Howell 16 mm projectors had been made untenable by the new video developments. I had a BS degree in Chemistry and math earned in 1957. I had always felt uncomfortable with the fact that I had never really used the degree in my work. I decided to go back to school and study medical technology and perhaps work in hospital laboratory. I returned to school for two years and two summers; I worked 20 hrs a week as a lab assistant in the college chemistry and was certified. That was scary. It worked though. I got work as a research assistant in Bio-chemistry which required the BS in chemistry, but for the more recent work for med-tech certification the UT Biomedical research. I sent 12 years and retired at age 67.
