Moments of transition such as graduation are times of celebration, but they are also points that demand tremendous courage as you cross a threshold and enter an unknown new world. Exhilaration and fear are closely related.
What change on the horizon scares and/or excites you?
At my advanced age of 92, I have several choices that I can make. I can choose to to see smaller leaps into something new, such as a class to learn something else, working on making a new relationship or leafing through my miriad pile of notes to remember a project I forgot to finish…or even to start(!).The other more obvious choice that is looming, of course, is the step of going into oblivion, and since I don’t have any great plans to enter heaven or hell, it’s the great mystery that awaits me.
