Rosh Hashana

It is Jewish practice to celebrate the New Year by eating an apple dipped in honey, inviting such sweetness into the year to come.

How has a vision of what you hoped for made you more resilient?

  1. Somewhere along my life’s journey, I’ve been able to learn how to be a friendly person, with a few exceptions that I probably don’t even recognize. However, I use the techniques I was introduced to in college and the university, living in group housing, that taught me the social niceties that most people like to receive. Whether this is the basis of deep personal friendships is questionable, I think. However, I can usually get along comfortably in most social situations and I’m blessed to be able to do so.
